Our MENTORS are responsible for mentoring the beneficiaries as part of the B-CRIGG Mentorship Programme. A mentor is a mature and older individual, trained by (qualified) Amathuba, to walk alongside their mentee and build an authentic relationship with them. Before commencing with any Mentorship or interacting with our MENTEES, each Amathuba MENTOR is required to sign a Confidentiality Policy, WhatsApp Policy, Continuous Feedback Policy, and provide Police Clearance Certificates as part of our Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Mentors are remunerated for their time which is spent in training sessions, preparing for meet-ups, reporting back thereafer, and for all interactions and liaison with the Champion Teacher, the Mentee and the Director of Mentorship.
Our Goal - Confident, balanced, well-educated and authentic individuals who know who they are and what they stand for;
individuals who are ready to contribute to the world around them.
